Surreal operatic experience I have to share with the internet.
I've just had a brief meeting about tax with a member of our chorus who had nipped out of dress rehearsals for a forthcoming opera.

He was a very nice chap indeed, which was slightly disconcerting considering that he's singing the role of Hitler.

What surreal events have happened to you lately?

I didn't realise hitler was a singer.

That's a great idea...
...she was saying how nice it would be to catch up with you. Things have been all over the place at home for a while now, but we'd love to organise something.

I climbed on the back of a giant anchovy, and flew up through a gap in the clouds
to a land where music was playing incredibly loudly, and everyone was really happy and having a really good time. Except me.

That was quite surreal.
