"Perchance they are not dead, but sleeping"
Or else out having a good time elsewhere.

Anyone else find themselves with nothing better to do on this here bank holiday Saturday evening?

alright TD
I'm making an epic and slightly sarcastic cover of the most whiny and helpless song in the universe.

The twist is that it uses a different tuning system, so I'm having to make all the instrument sounds from scratch - as a result, it sounds like it was made in about 1970.

I have nothing better to do.
But then you all knew that.

i wonder what those figments of my imagination have been up to on that spare imaginary bank holiday?
(, Sat 30 Apr 2011, 23:22, Reply)
Oh
They are probably out drinking beer, talking bollocks and thinking about pies.

Isn't that what we all do?
(, Sat 30 Apr 2011, 23:27, Reply)
No
I've been doing laundry, having my haircut and eating Coco Pops.
(, Sat 30 Apr 2011, 23:28, Reply)

Nothing to do this evening suits me fine just now
We just got back in from a day in the big smoke with the wife and the Victor Meldrew Trio (aka my children). They whine more than a vineyard and bicker more than a, er, Travis Bickle convention (Note to self: makes no sense, fix later after drinking rum)

They enjoyed themselves overall and their excitement at being on the underground made a few other passengers smile. I'm tired and have prescribed myself rum and vampires on tv.

did you go see the rich people get married
or something?
(, Sat 30 Apr 2011, 23:40, Reply)
If I'd wanted to see that..
..and turned up today then...*facepalm*

We were there for the zoo and general sightseeing with the wee-uns.
(, Sat 30 Apr 2011, 23:47, Reply)
oh yeah, I have no concept of what day it is or what happened when
zoos are way more fun! Did you see a red panda, those guys are the best
(, Sat 30 Apr 2011, 23:49, Reply)
Well it's sunday morning here.
I've just spent a delightful half an hour playing with my cat. It would appear that chasing a little common ribbon is the BEST GAME EVER.

I love how animals get all excited about things like that
my guinea pigs get proper excited when they have hay. They're like "WOAH HAY?! I fucking love HAY! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!" then bounce around in it for a while
