All this weekend
the news were just laughable.

I finally bought the lasagna. It's so nice.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:15, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
Is it lasagne and chips?
that's a uniquely British combination I've never been able to understand.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:18, Reply)
And garlic bread
THere is a pub near my Parent's-in-law which did the most amazing lasagne, chips and garlic bread.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:19, Reply)
Was that in the north?

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:22, Reply)
No
It was in Bedfordshite
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:23, Reply)
Ah, my brother lives there.
It's not very good is it?
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:26, Reply)
Actually I think the countryside is lovely
It's a shame it's got Bedford, and Luton, but the rest of it is actually quite pretty.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:27, Reply)
Leighton Buzzard is extraordinarily gay.

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:28, Reply)
Oh no it isn't
**sticks out tongue and runs away**
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 14:20, Reply)
Luton is fucking hideous.

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:28, Reply)
That's why I fit in so well.

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:31, Reply)
You are Lorraine Chase

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:34, Reply)
Fuck of with dissing Beds and Luton.
That's my job.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:30, Reply)
Let's face it, spaghetti hoops on toast is a bit fucking weird and all.

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:20, Reply)
That's fucking lush
Especially if you mix in some BBQ spices, or some worcestor sauce.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:24, Reply)
I like it myself, esp on granary bread you've cut yourself.
On paper it sounds shit though, eh?
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:27, Reply)
I wouldn't eat anything on paper
it would probably break my toaster as well.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:29, Reply)
Lasagne
and orange digestives. I'm going for a healthy diet today.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:22, Reply)
what the hell are orange digestives?

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:24, Reply)
A really fatty cheese filled main
topped off with biscuits?
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:25, Reply)
In Spain that's a healthy lunch
it's the fault of our appalling public services that it becomes highly calorific if you eat it here.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:26, Reply)
It's because we don't spend every weekend running away from bulls.

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:27, Reply)
...and pushing donkeys off bell towers.

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:28, Reply)
Plus wiping out the indigenous peoples of central America is good exercise.

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:29, Reply)
And stealing all that gold
requires a lot of calories.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:32, Reply)
Secretly dealing with Hitler is also an effective weight loss technique, I understand.

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:40, Reply)
An effective life loss technique too.

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:42, Reply)
Not necessarily so.
Franco died in the mid-70s I think.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:49, Reply)
I was in San Sebastian at ther weekend and it's funny because
everything that isn't pre 1900's looks like it has been built since the mid-1970's.

The first time I went on holiday to Spain in about 1980 you weren't allowed to drink tap water! That was an effective weight loss program.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:53, Reply)
You couldn't do that in France until more recently.
Or so I was lead to believe by my parents.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:54, Reply)
Crazy frogs.
ding ding ding
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:55, Reply)
Yes but we've been clearly told
HE DID NOT DEAL WITH HITLER. He just let his men go and fight on his side if they wanted to.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:53, Reply)
And the Germans bombed Guernica before the War.
We've done this before haven't we?
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:54, Reply)
Man I love Stukas. I'd fly one now if I could.

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:57, Reply)
Greatest of all the dive bombers.

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:59, Reply)
Oh yes, I remember now.

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:56, Reply)
I think Rory knew the name of the
Division the Spanish served in.
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 13:59, Reply)
He's good like that.

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 14:01, Reply)
Oh man I just heard the Neo Nazi Alarm
Blaue Division
(, Tue 3 May 2011, 14:07, Reply)
Professional!

(, Tue 3 May 2011, 14:09, Reply)
