like the last one i had up here, who had to ring his own helpdesk. 5 times he tried. 5 times he got the answerphone. yeah, welcome to our world. eventually he turned to me, looking genuinely baffled, and said "gosh it's hard to get through to us isn't it?"

Sadly a lot of them are shit.
Much of the time a company will employ one of their own who "knows computers" as their IT support, rather than hiring professionals.

I've spoken to "colleagues" who've been proper donkeys.
