Well I would be a guessin' that the greatest day of my life was the day I finally wooed Mrses Pops.
I had just been atending the garden on the base when I saw her, cuuu-wee, she was gosh darn the prettiest girl I ever did see. I turned to Jack, who was helping me, he's a negro so is good at gardening, so I said to him I sure did "Jack ! See that girl over there? One day a guy like me is gonna marry a girl like that, I swares it, and if I surely don't, then may I end up with a life of disapoint". He laughed in his deep negro tone, and he said to me "Well now Pops, if you wan't a girl like that, I don't dare think the devil himself could stop you".

It was then I plotted and schemed my way into her heart, but first a guy like me would have to find out her name. Heck, we call her Misses Pops these days, but she wern't always called that ! But that's another story.
