As long as you don't openly suck
and they're not paying you enough to buy a family car, any 'mistakes' will just add to the atmosphere of the night. I wouldn#t worry about it too much.

that'd be too much pressure. They are mates and have asked us to play. We don't suck too hard, but I don't consider us to be a wedding band at all. Mostly because we don't play covers.
