exactly
if you are hardcore enough to kill a gorilla and drag its carcass up a tree why would you bother with something so slow and with so little meat on it?

I think I found the reason why leopards don't eat them
As much as two-thirds of a well-fed sloth's body-weight consists of the contents of its stomach; which are partially digested leaves. Mmmmm delicious!

Not even for the cubs to train?
As I said, they have to be really disgusting. Maybe that's what evolution has given them.

Why not?
They seem very easy to catch.

well
they live up trees for the most part, not too much of a problem for a leopard, but they do have some pretty savage claws, and if I am risking a savage mauling then I'm going to want more meat as a reward.

They have savage claws
that they move at the impressive speed of 1mm/h... yes, I'd be scared too.

You'd find a wildebesst
and have a nice medium rare steak on an open fire.
