I was mostly sensible - I ate before I arrived, I alternated drinking wine with cheapo energy drinks*, and left when I felt tired.

*I'm pretty sure Tesco's "Rx" brand is just Red Bull in a differently decorated can, only at 40% of the price.

You should have come out with me and my brother instead.
There was no slacking off from us. I ended up transfixed by a tree outside the venue after the show (someone said 'enjoy the tree, mate' as they walked past) and it took me half an hour to realise that the statue of Ronnie Barker outside the theatre was not one of those 'living statue' tossers.
