It's the asking more than the money
I know having to pay for my brothers uni fees and expenses have left them fairly short at the moment, and my sister really wants to go on this fairly expensive summer school thing.

I haven't flashed anyone in ages, because that generally involves showing podgy stomach as well

Is there any chance you can get yourself a 0% interest credit card with a view to buying the ticket on it and paying it off over 1 year. You would have to be really good and not put anything else on it.

I don't trust myself with it
I got a credit card last term (£500) and I ended up spending about £300 on it because my debit card broke. Paid it off this term so no interest, but would rather not use it again

but this actually worked about 5 years ago at Donington.

We offered this girl 1 can, and she thought about it and her mate haggled it up to 2 cans, which we thought was fair enough.
