It's very ugly and brown, but it's one of England's friendlier (read: less miserable) cities.Not up its own arse like Leeds, or a complete bomb site like Sheffield.

It's fucking awfulI live on the Leeds side and that little bit isn't so bad.
I live here because my house would cost £50k more across the valley in Leeds.
If you want a shellsuit or a burkha, this is where to come.
Otherwise stay well clear.
