I'm moving into my furnished flat on Tuesday
one of my co-workers asked if I'd sorted insurance and I gave my best "rabbit in headlights" look. Should I care? If so, what else haven't I thought of?

I have super hardcore home insurance
but that's because I have loads of nice stuff and often take it to places and have to leave it there overnight.

does seem like just contents is all I need
the rest seems to be covered by the rental agreement.

If you have no financial interest in it, don't insure it.
If you get charged for breaking it, insure it. If it's yours and want a new one if you lose it or it gets nicked, insure it.
