I really, truly, cannot understand that desire. Really.
I do actually have a mothering streak a mile wide, but i take it out on my boys and my friends. I can see why I might want one of those cute, cuddly, clean babies that other people seem to have, but I wouldn't want one of the crying snivelly ones.

I think I'm doing the world a favour by deciding not to procreate. Plus, I have terrible genes.

I've always wanted a baby.
I can see where some wouldn't. It's a personal choice and I'm glad people feel they can choose not to, rather than having children they don't want.

I wouldn't tell anyone else not to have one
I just don't like the assumption that everyone will have children at some point in their lives, and if they don't, there is something wrong with them.

I can absolutely guarantee you that I would severely fuck up the life of any child who was unlucky enough to land me as a mother, and I wouldn't want to put anyone through that.
