Massive topside of beef that came with my meat shipment. It was fucking beautiful, as good as the best beef I've had anywhere.

lowlight
was rushing through town on Saturday lunchtime to meet a mate. Decided to grab a burger from Burger King. Bacon double cheeseburger and a regular coke cost me £5.15.

I was so stunned that I just handed over the money.

I find Burger King and McDonalds to be entirely tasteless too

to give them credit
the burger was actually really tasty, which reduced the shock of the price somewhat.

Was it the XL bacon double cheeseburger?

(, Mon 13 Jun 2011, 11:19, Reply)
just the ordinary one
outrageously expensive

Fucking hell, not even worth it then!
The XL bacon double cheeseburger meal, supersized, used to be a favourite meal of mine everytime I went to Manchester.

I don't tend to get it now, simply because the price is ludicrous.

I find that's too much food for me these days
my stomach is way smaller than it used to be.

although the volume of beef, yorkshires, potatoes, parsnips and gravy I put away yesterday would say otherwise...

I struggle with the drink, but if I have just the food I can eat it, but it lays me out for the afternoon

Burger king microwave their burgers from frozen then "flame grill" them
Also Burger is worse for you than Macdonalds fact fans
(, Mon 13 Jun 2011, 11:19, Reply)
Isn't it the other way round?
They flame grill them, then microwave them just before serving.
(, Mon 13 Jun 2011, 11:19, Reply)
meh, just what i heard, either way it hardl backs up their taste claims!

(, Mon 13 Jun 2011, 11:21, Reply)
You're Johnny no-stars and no, I don't want fuckin' fries with it.

(, Mon 13 Jun 2011, 11:21, Reply)
Aye, true
All I mean is that I've seen them microwave just before serving, which is why the cheese is always so melted.
