I should be censored at work as I'm constantly having to apologise for my 'french'
I think the self-censorship at home in front of the kids is causing a potty-mouthed overflow elsewhere. Things like 'Aww, balderdash!' and 'Cheese and crackers!' just don't offer the same emotional release as a good swear.

Mum once looked after her cousins for a few days.
And I stayed for a couple of nights with them, and so I thought I'd be clever and swear in Polish.

My cousins picked up on this, and started doing the same.

I didn't know my Aunt spoke Polish until I got a very angry phone call from her a week later.

I found out this weekend just gone that I can speak French
Or at least speak it better than I expected to be able to. My vocabulary could do with some work but if you point and yell loudly enough the surrender monkeys can work it out their damn selves.
