That was a retarded move on their part
it's not as if they don't have everybody's date of births on file. They must have had a multitude of calls like mine, which ran along the lines of "I'm 30 years old, who do you think you are to be blocking my internet?"

I can sort of understand it inasmuch as it's a business phone, paid for by a business
but you're right. I'm a (very) big girl, and if i want to look at naughty stuff, I bloody well will.

Nah, O2 did the same
across the board, not just on business phones, and even if they didn't have my DOB on file, I've been with them so long that to be under 18 now I'd have had to be five when I signed my first contract with them.

Yeah, it was some European guideline or other that they had to implement, I think
the rest was just laziness. It was easier to do it across the board and release it on request than it was to do the legwork and only block the affected parties in the first place.

Actually, more to the point, it was probably cheaper.
