I have some scripting work to do this afternoon (in an not into film way)
but I am instead reading here, drinking coffee and eating Midget Gems (awaits strikethrough)

Red wine, white wine, gin or Stella this evening?
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:09, 2 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
I should get some midget gems again for a change.
It's been a while. I hope they're Lions midget gems?

Sainsburys "value" I'm afraid
We did have M&S Jaffa cakes this morning though
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:11, Reply)
the rectangular ones?
M&S Jaffa cakes are better than McVities or whoever makes them.
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:13, Reply)
Yes, dark chocolate too
Nicer and more orangey bit
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:14, Reply)

Red wine, white wine, gin, Stella
in that order...
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:14, Reply)
Would you mind awfully if I swap the white and red wine round?
Only there is a bottle open in the fridge

Oh, well if you insist, Sir...!

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:21, Reply)
I do Sir

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:27, Reply)
Pah! you know nothing about midget gems.
You might as well be drinking the cooking sherry.
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:15, Reply)
I only eat them, I didn't buy them
I used to live in a shop where we sold Lions Midget Gems and Sports Mixture
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:16, Reply)
I had stella last night. It was disgusting. I don't know why I buy it, I don't like it.
Plus I'm burping it up this morning.

Have red and white mixed.
Or mix them with cheap champagne. That's fucking yum.
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:18, Reply)
OMG! the black outs I've had mixing red and white wine.
I was easily led in my youth. (thirties)
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:19, Reply)
really? I find I have to limit myself with wine because it's easy to go from just feeling good to OMFG MY LEGS DON'T WORK

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:23, Reply)
The white wasn't great but I have a nice bottle of red to follow
Stella will begin once that is empty
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:25, Reply)

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:27, Reply)
it doesn't matter what you drink
it's how much you drink of it
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:30, Reply)
There is only one glass of white left

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:33, Reply)

In my defence I used to hang around with two girls from Hartlepool.
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:35, Reply)
This explains a LOT

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:36, Reply)
I was once told Hartlepool people were normal.
Not even I'm that gullable.
(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:40, Reply)
Even Hartlepool people know they are a bit "special"

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:43, Reply)
I mean, naming their team the "Monkey Hangers" is a bit Joey Deacon imo.

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:46, Reply)
Electing the Monkey mascot 'Angus to be Mayor was a good plan too, I thought

(, Fri 24 Jun 2011, 14:46, Reply)
Dumb as rocks, but a good sense of humour.
Sounds like a few Londoners I know actually.
