Oh that sounds ace!
Where's the flat?
Will you be going alone or taking in lodgers?
How much is one of those tellies?

It's just down the road from where I currently am, it's ex-council, but ticks so many of my boxes.
Yup, I'm hoping TGB will be with me, I don't like living on my own, it's much better to live with someone. Plus it's silly for a room to go empty. It has a small office aswel which is awesomeness. and a dinning area so I can have dinner parties. I think I'm going to make the downstairs open-planned too.

I'm completely the opposite.
I took on two jobs and occasional poverty just so I could live on my own here. I'm too intolerant to share with people, yet my mate Vic's nearly 30 and she's still sharing.
Two bathrooms takes away a lot of the annoyance. Although V saved my life once when I fell asleep in the bath with a hangover.

You do realise that being married generally involves sharing a house with someone, don't you?

He doesn't annoy me.
Not even after 11 days in the same flat.
Most people annoy me after one day, and my favourite people after two days.
It'll be fine :S

um...
it may be longer than 11 days
(, Sat 25 Jun 2011, 10:43, Reply)
Oh shit.

(, Sat 25 Jun 2011, 10:48, Reply)
Really?
I lived with him for years and he totally got on my tits. Figuratively, of course. He's not a bert or anything.
(, Sat 25 Jun 2011, 10:45, Reply)
I'll annoy him more than he annoys me.
I have a cat and bad habits. He is cleanly-like.

Also 'a bert' lolz.

Love you too

I think, thinking about it, I was on my tod for about 10 years, and I was working from home, which meant the only daily contact with people I had was shop keepers and phone calls to parents.
I had mates and stuff, but it's nice in the morning to be like "Oh hi, how was your evening?" every day. Sent me a bit mental, which I couldn't see 'till I finished it. I'd rather live on my tod than with someone I don't like though, when Irish was about that was really bad. I also love cooking for people, that makes me happy too.

I suppose, working from home, yeah.
I go home to NOT speak. I like internetting because nobody's in my face.
But if a friend arranges something social on a Saturday, I'm thinking, "God, couldn't we have done this on Friday when I was in people-tolerant mode, and not on Saturday when I want to be on the sofa in my jarmers."

That's kindda the good thing how I plan my places, that everyone has their own domain where they can chill, and comunal spots are there so there is company if you want it.

(, Sat 25 Jun 2011, 12:03, Reply)
^this
Working at home with only the dog for company, I used to be absolutely desperate for conversation by the time mr b3th got home. Now he's retired and at home all fucking day, I'm desperate for some time alone.
(, Sat 25 Jun 2011, 10:53, Reply)
Oh man, if I had a dog, that would have fixed EVERYTHING.

(, Sat 25 Jun 2011, 11:15, Reply)
What kind of dog do you have? I like dogs.

(, Sat 25 Jun 2011, 11:15, Reply)
This, so many times
I could save so much by living in a houseshare, but I just don't think I could deal with always having people in my space. Company's great when you want it, but I've lived on my own for so long now that I'd probably flip out. And I'd rather be skint and have some semblance of inner peace than have plenty of cash and be constantly on the verge of doing a Columbine.

Woo!
My place'd be all the better for a cat though, I must say.

Get a normal one
Mine is a sociopath
(, Sat 25 Jun 2011, 11:15, Reply)
I shared a room as a kid
I shared a room at boarding school
I shared a room at university

I like to have my own space now. Just with the option of company when I feel like it. I may need to get a social life or something.

You must have never had time on your todd
