How is everyone this evening?

(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:14, 3 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
a bit wobbly
I'm crocheting a square.

sometime soon I'm going to crochet a crocodile for my friend's unborn child
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:17, Reply)
you make a baby sound like a science experiment

(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:19, Reply)
isn't it?
I thought that's why people did that shit, to experiment on them and see what happens
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:21, Reply)
they're like mini slaves
you have babies to make them do the things you don't want to do, i.e. clean, cook, make your cocktails
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:23, Reply)
Make it snappy!

(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:21, Reply)
hungover like WOAH

(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:19, Reply)
Where did you go and how much did you drink to get in such a state?

(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:20, Reply)
tumor release party, Jeff. Duh.
I had like 4 glasses of wine before we left and then my roommate and I went through 3 pitchers of beer.
Didn't seem like much at the time. I thought I was going to barf. I didn't though
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:22, Reply)
We could make an english lass out of you yet!
You'd need to step up your drinking training before you set foot on out fair shores though. What you had last night is known as 'breakfast' around these parts! :)
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:23, Reply)
it's because it was draft beer
draft fucks me up
I don't think I'd be able to drink in a pub there, do you have bud light on tap? I doubt it
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:25, Reply)
coors light on tap is fairly common here
if that'll do ya
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:32, Reply)
yeah coors is alright, ta

(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:34, Reply)
I don't think I've ever seen Bud Light on tap (or in any pubs some to think of it)
What makes it 'light'? We have a lot of dark beers, and IPA (Indian Pale Ale).

In fact, I don't think I've ever drunk Bud Light.
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:33, Reply)
it has fewer calories and is less filling
and DELICIOUS
I can't drink that other crap.
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:34, Reply)
You'd probably quite like Peroni, that is quite a light, crisps beer.
Or you might well find that cider is your tipple.

Either way, you'll go home from a UK weekend throwing up all the way over the Atlantic.
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:36, Reply)
crisps beer
the kind the refined drink with crisps
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:37, Reply)
hahaha
I meant crisp!
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:37, Reply)
I don't like cider.
It's shit.
I'll just have to sit in a park and drink my BL and I reckon invite some people to join or something.
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:38, Reply)
You've never had proper cider I'll wager!
I'll bring some up from the West Country for you.
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:39, Reply)
I had strongbow.
without ice.
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:41, Reply)
Strongbow isn't a proper cider. It's like fizzy apple squash with a bit of alcohol thrown in.
I'm talking about something cloudy, made from a single variety of apple and, if you get it in your eyes, it will make you blind.*

*May not cause actual blindness
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:43, Reply)
Take your pick!

(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:46, Reply)
I vote for faster shutter speed
that camera shake is doing my eyes in
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:48, Reply)
It has been taken on a camera with a 'cider' mode.

(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:50, Reply)
That's a hellish lot of cider for one pub
is it that Apple place?
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 22:00, Reply)
Yeap!
I've not been there in ages, not since I gave up drinking cloudy cider.

Too much pain is involved with a big cider session.
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 22:01, Reply)
and you want ME to drink it
How very kind of you
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 22:03, Reply)
I think over the course of a weekend, you'll be fine with a few.
I've got getting on for 20 years 'experience' of drinking it. Therefore, I'm allowed to retire!
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 22:04, Reply)
Pfft
that and you don't know how to pace yourself or when to stop, I think...
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 22:07, Reply)
I've not touched cloudy cider since my last cloudy cider injury.
(I managed to bite a hole in my tongue)

One injury too many.
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 22:08, Reply)
Silly Jeff
I have always found that cloudy cider tastes vaguely how a barnyard smells, and I always feel ill after about two or three pints.
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 22:10, Reply)
What have you baked for the bash tomorrow?

(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 22:11, Reply)
Scones and jam
been out and bought some clotted cream, too.
(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 22:17, Reply)
I'm even more sad that I'm not going to be there now.
*epic sadface*

If it's your homemade jam, I'll be even more distressed.

(See you on the left hand side)

Tidy bhat

(, Fri 1 Jul 2011, 21:31, Reply)
