I know what you mean on that first point
Saturday mornings at home used to be ace. I'd wake up to Dad playing his records really loud, and Mum starting the weekend housework. Of course it was soon ruined by them shouting at me to get up and join in with the cleaning and stuff, but it's an ace way to wake up.
