You should probably get out more

I can't.
My doorway is blocked with copies of 'Apache' by Michael Viner's Incredible Bongo Band.

I've got an old hip hop record that was heavily based on that track

(, Fri 8 Jul 2011, 13:22, Reply)
Same here. No picture sleeve though.

(, Fri 8 Jul 2011, 13:23, Reply)
Nah same, generic yellow sleeve as I recall
you know a track of theirs I rated more than that one? I Can't Stop. Man I wish I was in the same country as my records.
(, Fri 8 Jul 2011, 13:26, Reply)
Yellow sleeve it is.
I've got pretty much all the decent records from that era, from 'Marley Marl Scratch' to 'King of the Beat' by Pumpkin, plus shitloads of uptempo 'electro' tunes like 'Al Naafiysh' etc...

I think I might trawl through them tonight actually.
(, Fri 8 Jul 2011, 13:32, Reply)
Oh man
I remember hearing Al Naafish in the big room at Club UK many years after it came out, surprising how well an old electro track worked in a ravey environment.

Fuck work, I'm off to get some drugs & rediscover my youth.

Hahahah welcome to my world...

(, Fri 8 Jul 2011, 13:39, Reply)
It is a great record
but why do you need seven copies?
(, Fri 8 Jul 2011, 13:32, Reply)
One original LP.
Two bootleg 12"s on heavy vinyl which I bought for cutting up. Two shitter pressings that I bought first - and two copies on the Ultimate Breaks and Beats LP series.
