i suppose I could pretend its a tatoo
I can't be trusted near pens and things
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:36, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
how much would I regret getting a wrist tattoo?

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:40, Reply)
Depends how much you really want one.

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:43, Reply)
it looks nice in sharpie

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:46, Reply)
but aren't tattoos getting a bit passe
?
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:47, Reply)
If you think this then you don't really want tattoos.

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:49, Reply)
valid point
i think it's just because recently I've seen so many and I don't like being like other people
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:51, Reply)
But do you really want a tattoo?

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:48, Reply)
I've wanted one for a little while
but I think I'd need someone to tell me if it looked stupid. I am also convinced I'd get bored of it if I didn't pick a good one.

I'll probably just not get round to it anyway
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:50, Reply)
it's probably just another midlife crisis
I have them every few years
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:55, Reply)
I've been accused of that.
I reckon it's bollocks.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:57, Reply)
perhaps it's time I went for piercings again
perhaps a bit metal bolt through my neck
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:04, Reply)
MOAR PIERCINGS!!!

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:05, Reply)
I miss my nipple piercing
that was a different mid life crisis
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:07, Reply)
piercings are good
and breasts are good, but I have to admit i've never been sure about mixing the 2.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:09, Reply)
well I enjoyed it
I only took it out in a bizarre fit of rage
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:10, Reply)
^this
They were ok but I don't miss them.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:11, Reply)
Aparently is hurts a lot and is fairly visible
But there's little chance you'll grow up and get sensible now and pain is transient and soon forgotted (hence why some women have more then one kid) so go for it.

Your WOW guild emblem?

*glares*
I'm an art teacher so I could totally get away with it
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:47, Reply)
I said to go for it.
BGB, like totally runs a company and shit and she has one. That said Blousie has a point, if things like "it's a bit Passe" are entering your thoughts you're probably not wise to get yourself marked for life.

Also: show us the design.

Also also: Art teacher? I thought it was photography.

*is an evil fucker*
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:52, Reply)
it's photography and it's lecturer
But I think I dress enough like an art teacher.

I think I'd need to work on the design more before I asked opinions. It's supposed to be a branchy thing in purple round my wrist. I jsut realised its the same wrist I have a watch on, though, so it'll probably drive me mad
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:54, Reply)
So you dress like an art teacher and you are thinking of a wrist tatt....
I can't help but get a mental image of Davina McCall in a crappy old sports jacket with leather patches on the elbows.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:56, Reply)
and a trilby
mustn't forget the hat.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:58, Reply)
i need the hat!
for both sun protection and being cool
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:58, Reply)
I wasn't disssing the hat
I plan to steal it at the next bash.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:59, Reply)
it did kind of suit you
I might wear a different one next time (was this one brown and sparkly or black?)
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:01, Reply)
Black
if you wear a brown sparkly one I won't steal it.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:10, Reply)
*makes a note*

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:12, Reply)
Davina McCall..what?
real art teachers dress like they cover themselves in glue and roll round in a charity shop
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:58, Reply)
Did you know that Blousie has 'Property of JeffTheDogFucker' tattooed on her arm?
'tis true.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:55, Reply)
I definitely believe this

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:56, Reply)
If you search 'Property of JeffTheDogFucker' you'll see.

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:56, Reply)
You should get the other arm done.
This time have 'STILL the property of JeffTheDogFucker' added.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 21:59, Reply)
Maybe I'll just get your portrait tattooed on my other arm.

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:07, Reply)
I wouldn't do that Blousie.
What will you do when I decide to change my haircut again, or if I go grey?

The tatt will look really weird then.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:15, Reply)
Alternatively,
It could act as a reminder that once upon a time , in a certain light, you were almost atttractive.

My dad's cousin was engaged to George Harrison and she had his name tattooed in the style of an identity bracelet on her wrist.
They split up.

I believe it was Eddie who intoduced us all to Curly Watts as the both worked on the bins together.

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:18, Reply)
That sounds right to me.
Hold up: The character was originally a paperboy for Rita Fairclough, before working as a binman with Chalky Whiteley and Eddie Yeats, whilst lodging with Emily Bishop.

Don't remember no paperboy shit. You are more right than Wikipedia.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:20, Reply)
I don't remember the paper-boy bit either.
But I do remember Chalky.

Remember when Fred left the handbrake off his white Rovers and is went in the lake?

Fred Gee?

(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:24, Reply)
The very same.
It was a classic scene with Mrs Walker and Bet.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:29, Reply)
Annie Walker and George from Rainbow.
Same person.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:30, Reply)
Lies.
George from Rainbow was a hippo. Mrs Walker was a landlady.
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:34, Reply)
are you saying hippos can't be landladies?
racist!
(, Sun 10 Jul 2011, 22:34, Reply)
I am.
And you and your Hippo Defence League can march all you want. I don't care.

Theres only 2 women I can associate with Harrison. One was Patricia Boyd, the other is Olivia Arias.
Was this before the Beatles found fame?
