I came *this* close to having my head caved in by a load of ex Marines in Rome eighteen months ago.
Because I asked if they were septics. I had to explain that it was rhyming slang and had nothing to do with what the actual word means, then I was forced to give examples whilst extremely pissed infront of the six or so aforementioned shaven head and huge ex Marines. Great days.
