Ay up DG!
How's tricks?

Not bad, ta.
Still enjoying my period of not working. I'm sure it'll get dull soon enough, though. I am currently thinking about going to buy some new fish for the aquarium.

Good stuff.
You keeping your eyes peeled for future employment?
(, Fri 15 Jul 2011, 14:48, Reply)
Not at the moment.
It is my intention to have a few weeks off (not even signing on yet). I'll start looking after about a month, though, but I have to be a choosy about applying for posts with certain organisations within 6 months as I may have to pay some of my redundancy back.
(, Fri 15 Jul 2011, 14:50, Reply)
Really? I didn't know that.
Seems a bit harsh, surely you've earned that redundancy?
Enjoy the time off though.

It's if you are employed by an employer
who operates under the principal civil service pension scheme. Bit of a bugger really.

I may sign up with an Agency initially to avoid this potential embuggerance.

Ah, ok. That's a massive cunt though.
I found my current jobby-job through an agency and it was all nice and quick.

If I happen to be placed with a PCSPS employer via an Agency
then they can't touch the money. An ex colleague did this, and it worked out fine for her, plus she was made permanent after ten months. Bingo.
