London fucking sucks and since all those pricks live in the Home Counties,
they've made those fucking suck, too.

Your opinion is invalid unless you live somewhere better.
Which is of course impossible.
(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 16:50, Reply)
I live in the Home Counties.

(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 16:51, Reply)
Oh, a posh type is it?

(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 16:53, Reply)
No, it's "a posh type, are you?"
And only in comparison to a Londoner. Or a Northerner. Or the Welsh, Cornish and anyone from Essex. Or the Midlands. Or Scotland.
(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 16:54, Reply)
So, the rest of the UK then?

(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 16:57, Reply)
That does appear to be about the size of it, doesn't it?

(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 16:58, Reply)
I'm from Cheshire, technically I'm posh
I'm not, though
(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 16:58, Reply)
I've had this conversation before.
Cheshire, like Harrogate, is only posh in comparison to the rest of the North and, as I'm sure you're aware, it's Grim up there.
(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 16:59, Reply)
it's what makes us tough

(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 17:01, Reply)
you are quite posh actually
for a Welsh bird.
(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 17:00, Reply)
*glares*
I'm not sure which bit I'm glaring most about 'posh', 'welsh' or 'bird'
(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 17:02, Reply)
Definitely the Welsh bit

I'll be honest, I owe London a lot, it's where I was born and raised, granted, on the outskirts.
And I think the thing that sucks about it, is not london, but me. That I sit in my flat pissing my life away online doing sweet fuck all. But this trip has shown me that I can go to resturants on my tod, never done that before. Brighton is like living in central london without the crime. Except 50% of it is made up of Camden.
(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 16:56, Reply)
Well I'm glad it's done you some good, Gonz
and believe me, if I could nuke London and avoid harming you in the process, I would. But I can't.

Nice knowing you.
(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 16:58, Reply)
What I loved about Brighton was that, as someone who doesn't drink (I don't _not_ drink, I just don't drink, and espesh not to excess), there are so many interesting and wonderful places to eat that aren't a fortune.
Every meal I had, aside the japanese, I got change out of £10/head, and I choose exactly what I wanted to eat. Food is my thing, and they have so many amazing food places. Sure, they have chains, like everywhere, but their sandwich shops all have their own dishes and unique touches. The sandwich shops around here are all cheap crap shredded chicken swimming in a sauce that has come out a bottle. Where we get Cheese On Toast, they have Rarebit. Where we get Hagondaz or Ben'n'Jerries, they have lavendar and rose ice creams.

Last time I went there I managed to find the one threatening
London-esque pub in all the city. I am impressed with my skills.
(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 17:00, Reply)
You do realise
that due to this and the whole posh/home counties thing I am now going to visualise you a a foppish Dandy, or the type Little Lord Fauntleroy would have grown up into, don't you?

Edit: This is you, this is:

OK, will revise my mental image accordingly
Old Gladstone or young?
(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 17:10, Reply)
Young, hopefully. I'm not quite decrepit yet.

(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 17:11, Reply)

It would explain the whole shit fixation thing.

(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 17:14, Reply)

You think this will catch on do you?
Good luck.
(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 17:35, Reply)

(, Thu 21 Jul 2011, 17:37, Reply)
You need to pick your moment.
I am aware this will jinx me, but I seem to be fairly teflon for memes thus far.
