Ebay
I sold something on ebay last week for 99p, with £1.75 postage and packaging - not unreasonable as the waterproof bag I sent it in cost me over 80p and I had to drive 13 (x2 - I had to get home too) miles to have it delivered.
The bint I sold it to is kicking up about the postage and has started an ebay case (whatever that means).

What twunts have you encountered on ebay?

One very quick email to ebay and they removed it after reading the emails etc...saying that she had tried to blackmail me into giving her the money ;-)

With eBay now taking 10% of anything you sell and the fact everyone on there seems to be a massive cunt just makes the whole place torture.
I bought jacket for £30 on there a couple months back and it never turned up. To be fair I think he sent it but he didn't do it recorded or special delivery so I put a claim in and got a refund. He still emails me now calling me a bastard and a son of a whore for leaving him negative feedback, and also casually drops in that he's going to be in my area for a business meeting soon and he'll be coming to my flat to 'talk about removing said feedback'. I just reply saying that it's great he'll be able to stop by, as I've got a new laptop, don't know how to use it properly yet and he can help me with navigating through the relevant eBay pages.

But yes, the whole place is full of utter cocks.

I am so close to quitting for good
Last year to pay for Christmas I sold my laptop, the guy got it and emailed me to say if was all fine then emailed a few days later to say it wasn't working and he wanted his money back. I said "Look it was working when I sent it and when you received it so for all I know you have spilt coffee on it or something so I am not refunding until you return it to me" He refused to return it saying I would then have the laptop and his money, I refused to give him his money as he would have a free laptop, it went back and forwards until the point where ebay had to make the decision. They sent me and email saying "As he won't return it you don't have to give him his money" case closed but jesus what a twat. I am pretty certain there was nothing wrong with it and he was just trying to rip me off.

Also a few months back I bought three phones off a guy and one didn't work, I said lets be fair mate, refund me a third and I won't escalate. He told me no. So I escalated to a claim and he wrote me and email swearing at me calling me a cunt for escalating on a weekend when he has kids to look after. I said ok refund me a third. He agreed and ebay put it as pending, he never refunded as agreed so after 10 days ebay refunded all the money including postage not just a third of the cost. I got an email from him a few days ago saying "I'm still waiting for you to send the phones back" He can keep waiting, I never wanted a full refund, I never wanted to send all the phones back and he could have given me a small amount and ended it. Also I was the buyer, I haven't ever had his address even if I wanted to send them back.

I just tried to explain to her that if you bought something from Argos, that their fuel costs would be factored into their delivery costs, and that they probably make a profit on it, whereas I haven't and I'm not about to make a loss just to make her purchase cheaper.
I doubt it will go down well at her end.

I sold a silk skirt a year or so ago
and the woman wanted a further discount after receiving it as she said the lining was ripped. It wasn't ripped when I sent it, which I told her. She then tried telling me she wanted a discount as it was a gift for her sister. WTF?
I told her if she wasn't happy then send the skirt back to me, I'll refund and that'll be the end of it. She never replied.
I need to sell some stuff soon but I'm dreading using ebay again.

I know its a bit late
But some daft cow bought an amp off of me, whilst testing the bloody thing, I blew it up. Sent her money back immediately, apologised, but she gave me a negative as her son was wating in all day. I did point out I hadn't marked it as dispatched, but the welsh keyboard warrior decided that wasnt good enough. Taraboutique, if you want to screw up her ratings, I'll pay for any purchases you buy off of her, and you can keep the goods.
