the good news in my personal life involves a LOT of moaning
but in a good way. (as you have no idea how girls sound when they are actually enjoying sex, i thought this needed clarifying.) and my firm has given me a really generous payrise, which makes me feel good about what they think of me.

i am really shocked by the amy winehouse thing, not that i knew her or anything that gives me reason to be upset, but i do think it's v sad.

why do you hate norwegians?

(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 11:53, Reply)
i lived with 2 of them in a houseshare
and i'm very racist, apparently.

no, that has sickened me too, the pictures of the flowers outside the cathedral and the survivors were awful.

sorry, it was a reference
to a cartoon that's doing the rounds today

Regarding Amy Winehouse
I am not at all shocked, nor do I particularly care.
(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 11:55, Reply)
Same here. I got roundly told off at work
because she's a "genius" and it's "terrible". Sure, she was a decent singer, but that doesn't make you a genius. Also, her songs sucked and I'm frankly amazed that she didn't die earlier.

shocked?
It's possibly the most predictable thing that's happened in the last month. It's sad when anybody loses their life but it's hardly a surprise.
(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 11:55, Reply)
even when you expect death
it is a surprise when it actually happens. Death is natural yet seems the most unnatural state to exist
(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 11:56, Reply)
Can anyone honestly say they were surprised that an habitual drug and alcohol abuser carked it at a young age?

(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 12:00, Reply)
not in general

(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 12:01, Reply)
my first thought was how old was she?
27?

overdose.

I blame Pete Doherty.
(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 11:58, Reply)
it seems a travesty that Justin Beiber is still alive
I'll say that.
(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 11:59, Reply)
it's just the fact that she was only 27
that makes it so shocking, even though she abused herself beyond belief. what a massive waste of life.
(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 11:59, Reply)
The only shocking thing about it is that she made it to 27 in the first place.

(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 12:00, Reply)
They tried to make me sympathetic
but I say no, no, no
(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 12:06, Reply)
A waste of life, yes
A shock, fuck no.
(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 12:01, Reply)
agreed
but still can't say I find it in any way shocking. I'm surprised she made it as long as she did.
(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 12:01, Reply)
Yeah, I was at a party whent he news started going around.
I felt as though it had already happened. It was so inevitable.

Always with the sluttery ! Have you ever thought to yourself "I know, today I'll be a good girl and have some KFC instead" ?

(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 12:33, Reply)
i would do
if kfc made vegetarian food. it's all their fault.
(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 12:35, Reply)

Still, it doesn't stop anyone enjoying your greasy bucket.
(, Mon 25 Jul 2011, 12:49, Reply)
