eh - so she's read a bit of post-feminism, too
I'd like to see how she does on feminist sci fi and cyborg feminism

actually I can't remember much of this, it was a chunk of my MA, though

it's more 'difference' theory nowadays

*fears long words*
*continues to protect balls* I don't trust feminists, they are tricksy.

don't be scared. The last line of my thesis was
"A side salad of humour with your cultural theories, madam? Yes please, and with a vinaigrette of fantasy, if I may."

I took it all VERY seriously.

more long words
I don't like my gender politics complicated beyond necessity. I find "lets just treat each other like human being and play nice" about covers it.

vinaigrette has nothing to do with gender politics

(, Wed 27 Jul 2011, 23:26, Reply)
Not yours maybe.
sounds kinky to me.

Eugh!

I got told I was nice earlier
so I'm working on my image

Well done.
It's working. who told you you were nice. Over there

It's Latin for "adjacent", likewise "trans" is Latin for "opposite".
Mind you I found that out from chemistry, not gender politics.
(, Wed 27 Jul 2011, 23:15, Reply)
yes, but to need to have a word for beeing born into the right gendered body...
sheesh.
