The big improvements this year is software based, except for a reportably much bigger screen.If you use up a big contract's worth of stuff, then I'd go for iPhone 5, but if you only have a big contract to make up the cost of the phone, then I'd go for the iPhone 4 (or whatever they make the 'iPhone Lite' to be).
