Before my son was bornI had a mental image of the two of us having a snooze on the sofa of an afternoon - me flat out on my back, him snoring peacefully on my chest. It never happened. The little sod never wanted to sleep in the afternoons and would go fucking mental if I tried to lie him down on my chest.
