Knowing what a shit time childhood can be, and knowing that any child of mine would be a complete spod, I really cannot wish 'existence' on anyone.

Well, as I understand it, most parents are averse to that sort of thing.
So, by making the offer, I am giving myself extra incentive not to have one. Or something.
