better than being on the dole
I got temp work in a couple of banks. It was ok.

Absolutely.
I liked the dole until I got the second week of £42 or whatever it was. Crushing poverty will drive you to get a job.

The most soul destrying job I had was working in a British Gas call centre for £100 a week take home. For shame!
