Dunno.
Lunchtime-ish would probably be best. Or even 11:00. Then we can hit the pier, start drinking, have some lunch, do some more drinking, have a go on some rides, try not to throw up, go on the crazy golf, do some more drinking, have fish n chips, fall onto a train home (except me, obviously - I'll have mr b3th to come and pick me up, giggling and drunk).

Needs more drinking

(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:28, Reply)
And then you're going to do it all again the following day?
Hardcore.
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:31, Reply)
No retreat, no surrender.

(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:32, Reply)
I don't think I'm going to be able to make it
which makes me very sad indeed. I definitely wouldn't have been able to get pissed two nights running; I just don't have the stamina for that kind of shenanigans any more.

Welcome to old age.

(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:37, Reply)
I've been quite fortunate in that I rarely get hangovers anymore
this is due, however, to it requiring much, much less alcohol to get me drunk. So there are positives to getting old.

Tickets are about a pound on megabus at the moment
just booked mine :)
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:37, Reply)
For London?
I'll be living in Leamington then; £15 return on the train. Woop!
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:38, Reply)
That's not bad- you have to come!

(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:41, Reply)
The London bash, I can
the pier bash is looking increasingly unlikely. Oh - and I'm damn well going to get to Spitalfields this time!
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:43, Reply)
You could always stay at mine :)
and head up with me the next day
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:44, Reply)
It's not the money that's the issue
it's getting the time off work - it's my last day at my current job and I have almost no holiday left.
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:51, Reply)
+ you need to pack.

(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:53, Reply)
I started when I got in
I got bored very quickly.
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:55, Reply)
Pfft of course
though I suspect the next day will be heavier drinking.
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:38, Reply)
This is what I was thinking.
I'm heading to London Friday late afternoon.
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:31, Reply)
We can make it earlier then.
A 10:00 start if you would prefer...
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:31, Reply)
No, 11 or 12 noon is fine.
It won't take long to get to London from Bristol.
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:46, Reply)
11 then.
at The Carrot.
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:53, Reply)
I'll probably get the train down to the 'Mare.
Are there usually cabs a plenty at the station?
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:54, Reply)
What for?

(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:54, Reply)
joyriding

(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:55, Reply)
Hahaha.
The train station is a five minute walk from the sea front.
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:56, Reply)
So in answer to my question....

(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:57, Reply)
Yeah, it's just a stroll.
Takes five minutes at a walking pace.
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:58, Reply)
Fair enough.
A stroll it is!
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 22:00, Reply)
I can arrange for the mayor to hold a welcome ceremony and escort you into town...

After all, the police will probably be escorting you OUT of town.
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 22:05, Reply)
If you don't mind.
That'll be great. I'll just wait at the station until the mayor turns up.
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 22:07, Reply)
The journey from the station to wherever it is we'll end up meeting.
From memory, it is a bit of a walk from the station to the front.
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:56, Reply)
How late in the afternoon?

(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:47, Reply)
I dunno. Six or seven o'clock maybe later?

(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:53, Reply)
So evening rather than afternoon then!

(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:53, Reply)
That's not afternoon, silly.
That's nearly bedtime!
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:53, Reply)
in which case I won't be coming :(
I've to work
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:45, Reply)
well, that's not good enough...

(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:46, Reply)
sorry
unless my timetable magically has nothing on Fridays I'll be stuck teaching ungrateful teenagers how to point a camera at things
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:47, Reply)
Fucks sake.
Chuck a sickie
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:52, Reply)
can't
I'll spend the rest of the day wracked with guilt, I have a bastard of a superego
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:53, Reply)
What will be worse though....
A day spent feeling guilty at the thought of throwing a sickie, or a day being all paranoid that we'll all be talking about how much we HATE Cavy?
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:57, Reply)
well better you do it when I'm not there
than when I am :(

I'm guessing no one would ever come to a swansea bash? Even if it were on a pier with a monkey in a bikini?
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 21:58, Reply)
I WILL NOT BE WEARING A BIKINI!!!

didn't I tell you this story the other day?
It didn't originally have a bikini, someone nicked it for a week or two, modified it and returned it
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 22:02, Reply)
hahahaha
I haven't heard that before.
(, Thu 18 Aug 2011, 22:04, Reply)
You could coincide it with the gymnastic camp.
