Mwhahahahaha!
I'm all powerful! I've subdued this HYSYS simulation and made it converge under my own rules!!! The Universe will soon be mine!!

Why do you feel all powerful today?
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:32, 61 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
because I'm full to the brim with PCP

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:33, Reply)
Are you sure you don't mean ppc?

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:34, Reply)
yes

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:35, Reply)
Nah, he's exactly the way the police in The Terminator thought Arnie was
when he punched through the car windscreen, only they were wrong and he was actually a killer cyborg from the future.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:35, Reply)
Not sure what PCP is
Why does it make you powerful?
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:35, Reply)
it's a crazy drug
turns people into nutters

also called Angel Dust
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:36, Reply)
I see
I'm ignorant about drugs, thanks for the lesson.

Isn't it a bit early to be taking it?
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:37, Reply)
never too early to play with your state of mind.
How are you stranger?
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:38, Reply)
Happy today
doing the victory dance after a long fighting day yesterday. And it's the weekend, and could be going for a bbq/picnic tomorrow, so life is goooood.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:40, Reply)
fighting what exactly?
in your condition! How is the flat/bump/marriage?
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:42, Reply)
Fighting the simulation
didn't want to do what it's supposed to do; stupid thing.

Everything is going well. By the end of the month we'll start looking for a new place to live, probably in Worthing. A bit stressed about that, but everything else is fine.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:51, Reply)
You have inadvertantly educated her as to the title of one of the best albums of the 90s
Good work
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:48, Reply)

STOMPED, SORRY!
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:33, Reply)
Mmmmm
It's ok, I'm too happy to get upset with you.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:36, Reply)
most people are. I am a pariah
I'd rather be a piranha.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:38, Reply)
Piranhas are ugly
and full of bones. But they're very clever too.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:39, Reply)
see I'm living the dream already

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:44, Reply)
You only need to start swimming more often
and eating only raw meet. You're almost there.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:49, Reply)
I have £200k to spend

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:36, Reply)
Really?
Do you need ideas?
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:36, Reply)
It's for a client so not really that exciting I'm afraid

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:37, Reply)
You could purloin said funds
and help your old mate Monty out?
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:38, Reply)
What do you buy for clients at that price?

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:39, Reply)
Marketing guff

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:39, Reply)
I see
so you don't get to buy fancy stuff for rich people?
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:41, Reply)
No, not at all
I make evil companies more money, by tricking people into buying their wares
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:44, Reply)
Nice
sounds like a dream job. I hope at least it's not too stressful and the pay is not too bad. And it's better than telemarketing, I suppose.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:49, Reply)
sounds like you do the same thing as one of my good mates

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:56, Reply)
Ariel Atom

There were two in convoy driving round the Downs in bristol (and I don't mean special kids)
The noise was incredible.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:45, Reply)
I don't

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:38, Reply)
Why not?
Missing your bacon?
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:38, Reply)
Aye, still no bacon :-(
Ah well, lunch soon.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:42, Reply)
My lunch is awful today
Sainsbury's onion and chicken soup tastes of shit, and I don't fancy it. I might go to the supermarket and get something else.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:47, Reply)
Ugh, that sounds horrific
I'm on my chicken and chorizo thing for the last day today, then back onto stew for next week.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:49, Reply)
I haven't cooked in ages
Maybe this weekend, if I have time, but I need to tidy up and clean first.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:52, Reply)
try the covent garden soups
in the fresh bit.

those suckers know how to make good soup.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:58, Reply)
I'm even doing the victory dance
but on my chair, and not dancing much. I spent the whole day yesterday trying to make it work!
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:38, Reply)
Careful that the old guy doesn't steal your work

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:40, Reply)
You're right
luckyly he's not here today. And he knows nothing about simulations, so I think this time people would believe me.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:42, Reply)
My fitness is gradually improving
I managed to do some actual push-ups.

What is a HYSYS simulation?
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:39, Reply)
well done!

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:43, Reply)
If that isn't sarcastic
then thank you.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:44, Reply)
it isn't
but I thought it might seem it
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:49, Reply)
I was pleased
still a long way to go but it's a start
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:51, Reply)
it gets easier, believe me

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:54, Reply)
It didn't for me
I think exercise and I don't go together. I can cycle and swim, and that's about it.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:56, Reply)
I've just turned 30 and I'm thinner and lighter and in better shape than I have been for probably 15 years
I can't stand running, or going to the gym. I surf, because I enjoy it and have been playing some badminton recently, but that's about it.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:58, Reply)
The walking helped
I've had to walk about 13 miles in the past week in total. I'm feeling more confident about meeting my target on time
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 12:01, Reply)
good
how are your feet etc. holding up these days?
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 12:04, Reply)
Not great
but I'm really concentrating on working through the pain rather than just giving up automatically.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 12:05, Reply)
good stuff
hope things go well
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 12:11, Reply)
Good for you!
I'm unable to make them at all. Too clumsy and too big bottom.

It's just some work. You simulate on your PC a chemical plant (a refinery in this case) and should tell you how the plant will work if you change stuff, like the type of crude and that; but this one kept crashing and giving me stupid errors yesterday, I've got it today.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:44, Reply)
Glad to hear it
have you got to go straight into the next project, or do you get a little bit of gloating time?
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:45, Reply)
Oh, the project is not finished
I just made it work so I can start getting data from it; I'll get upset with it seven times a day or more (like a typical couple, it seems) but it's so rewarding when it works!
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:46, Reply)
Buy it a dinner and tell it all is forgotten and forgiven :)

(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:49, Reply)
If I got it a dinner every time I get upset with it
I'd be both skint and fat.
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:52, Reply)
I have no idea what that means
So very well done you. How is all else in Aber-world?

Today is my last day sitting near The Coven, which makes me happy if not all-powerful
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:50, Reply)
Just work stuff that didn't work yesterday and it's working today.
Very rewarding.

The Coven? Well, I'm glad you're happy. Where are you going to be sitting now?
(, Fri 19 Aug 2011, 11:53, Reply)
About 8 feet away from where I am now
which is far enough to not be able to hear them cackling, I hope
