Physical 'media' would be Duke Nukem Forever and it was shit
Digital 'media' would be Nero - Welcome Reality, and I rather like it.

No! was it really?
what was wrong with it?

Also, welcome home, we missed you.
(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 12:56, Reply)
Innit.
Now make some funny pictures, Lab.

No you didn't miss me.
DNF played like and looked like a 6 year old game, the humour was weak, the levels dull and repetitive, and the mechanics shonky. A massive disappointment.

I totally missed you!
I had a little cry one night because I was worried about you eating properly in Godzilla-land.
(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 13:07, Reply)
I ate so many things that, until tasting, I had no idea what they were
Most were tasty.

Highlight of Nippon trip?
Sorry if you've done this already but I've been busy.
(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 12:57, Reply)
"Sunrise at the top of Mt. Fuji"
is my default answer to that.
(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 13:06, Reply)
Sounds excellent.

(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 13:13, Reply)
It was a sublime experience
Worth the 8.5 hours ascent, mostly in darkness, queuing with thousands of other climbers, and then the 4 hours of descent down boring, dangerous, knee-destroying steep switchbacks cut into the dirt and rocks.
(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 13:26, Reply)
Thank God it was, then.

(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 13:32, Reply)
I would not do it again.
The rest of the trip was bloody brilliant too, Japan's a fascinating country.
Chock full of beautiful women too.

*tries really hard for this to not sound racist*
They do tend to look quite similar though.

I do think Japanese women are lovely but they're all a bit cookie cutter looking.

There was a group of Thai girls on my MSc course
and I could never remember their names, or tell which ones I had seen before.

One woman we met, an American just finishing her 2nd year of teaching there
Had a friend who was asked if she was blind on account of her having blue eyes.
(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 13:44, Reply)
I've wanted to go since I was about 7.
I have (kind of) got family out there, somewhere. My uncle married a Japanese woman.
(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 13:42, Reply)
I didn't meet him.
I've also wanted to go there for many years, and wish I'd gone sooner.

This Nero album
Is it all Pendulum-lite, or just the singles?

(which I rather enjoyed)
(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 12:58, Reply)
Hmm, it's more dubstep than Pendulum

(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 13:09, Reply)
You'd like this then

(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 13:11, Reply)
I do, and indeed I think I linked that on FB a few weeks back

(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 13:22, Reply)
Wow!
It's more Hippo faeces than Elephant faeces. That makes a real difference.
(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 13:12, Reply)
*can't keep straight face*

(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 13:14, Reply)
It'd make a difference to me.

(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 13:17, Reply)
Because you're an expert.

(, Tue 23 Aug 2011, 13:19, Reply)
Ugh
How disappointing
