I too like York
Lots of nice pubs and good places to eat and a town centre it is impossible to get lost in. Couple of good record shops too.

Yup, and since there's a food festival on
we should be able to subsist entirely on free food samples. I'm really looking forward to it.

I may have to go to Jorvik Viking Centre. I haven't been there since I was about 9.

Black Rose on Rose St, Whistle Binkies, the Scotsman (a dive but good crack), Guildford Arms, maybe down the Grassmarket. Depends on what we fancy really.

Ah, that would be why then.
We went to the Hard Rock Cafe last time we were there as a treat for Sweary Jr. Expensive but I fucking love their burgers. My father-in-law, being the curmudgeonly old misanthropic hard to please grump bag that he is reckoned that McDonalds burgers were better.
