Spending time with my daughter
has reminded me how much I enjoy drawing. I always got As for art and did things like the artwork for school play posters and stuff. My brother was singled out as the artist of the three of us, though. He went to art school for a year and it put him off for life.My father's a decent watercolourist and his father was a professional landscape artist in Canada after his retirement. He was really pretty good. Painted with a knife rather than a brush.
