Whilst in London, which I'm assured is a fashion barometerThe NOW LOOK is "preparing for floods". Those ridiculous body warmers that encouraged someone to ask Marty McFly if he'd jumped ship - "what's with the life preserver?" - are back, and girls are wearing wellies with knee-socks and shorts.
Every time I think fashion can't get any dumber, it proves me wrong.
