I spent a good 5 minutes looking at that
trying to work out what on earth the word was that you'd mis-spelt twice to end up with "shitter" ... and then I realised you meant "shitter"

sad times.

Good luck mate. Although, don't get too excited about dimmer switches, they only cost about a tenner. If you find a flat you like without them I'll put them in for you.

Oh awesome, can you do that? I wouldn't have a clue. My ma's ones sometimes flicker when you put them on low.
Will trade awesome meal times for DIY help.

probably not got the right bulbs.
You can't put energy saving bulbs in dimmers though, so your electricity bills tend to be brutal unless you've got halogens everywhere, and only 240V halogens can easily be dimmed.

I donno, my Dad spent a fortune on a home automation thing, there is a computer in the hallway that is connecting all the lights in the living room.
But they only used it to switch the thing 'on' and 'off', and he died before anyone got the chance to learn it, and it flickered all the time.... so a couple of years ago mum got it changed for a normal dimmer lightswitch that works normal, and now we have a £5k computer system in the hallway that does fuck all. I think you can connect other things to it like curtans and the aircon.
