Yes it is, just had lunch in a beer garden with a workmate, the view was cracking
This weekend is fairly unremarkable, save for the return of SCD and the season finale of Doctor Who, and am DJing tomorrow night which is why I can't come to the bash. Apart from that I daresay I'll be getting roped into much Ballroom practice. Yay.

If you were 5pm and the news that the wife had decided to go out for the evening and that I should just get a takeaway and play Total War all night
then yes. I would want you.

Which total war are you playing?
I've always liked the idea of them more than the games. But haven't played any since medieval.

Empire.
It's so massive and complicated that I don't know if it's as good. The upgrade options for buildings and stuff are a bit opaque so I've been playing it for a few hours and I've only just got my head around it. It's not as good as Medieval 2 for my money, but we'll see.

The world domination only gives you 100 years, and since each turn is 6 months, that only gives you 200 turns, which doesn't seem enough to research everything you need to end up with the really cool soldiers.
