Alt alt: I don't know but there's a big issue seller on the bridge that links York Road to Waterloo that I think has tourette's and has a technique for managing it, because he says 'Big Issue?' and then 'charactaristic of person walking by'. So he'll be standing there saying 'Big Issue, Hat', 'Big Issue, Glasses' or, oddly, just 'Big issue, Social'. I am yet to decipher that last one.
