Tonight's dinner
A maronaide made using "Asian Umami Paste", Honey, Mustard, Garlic, Creme Fresh, a little bit of Chili and a drop of whisky... the smothered some lamb chops in them, plonked in some baby potatos to the side. Got the oven up to full wack, it should char the maryonde into a nice crust. I've got some lovely aspagous to go with it.

I know it seems a lot like "Oh fucking hell, has he just put in a shitload of random things and hope it'll turn out well?" but I've thought about all the flavours and stuff, and think it would work well, hopefully, maybe. We'll see.

AHHHHHHHHHHH
damn you, I'm hungry and this is not helping. All i have is a chicken burger and some crappy oven chips that won't be cooked for FUCKING AGES

You seem to eat a lot of oven chips Captain.

only when I'm not eating pasta

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 17:58, Reply)
Do you never do a bit of rice.
Or maybe mash a few spuds or even eat the spuds whilst they're still in their jackets - for a bit of a change, like.
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 17:59, Reply)
mircrowave rice
ocassionally potatoes, but I usually forget I have them and I never know what to eat them with

I think you need to buy more ingredients rather than dishes.
I'd like to come shopping with you and show you how to really stock a kitchen so you'll always be able to put something together.
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 17:59, Reply)
I just don't have the mind set for it
I get bored and drift off into a dream world and buy too much microwave rice
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:00, Reply)
I hope you'll post a picture.

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 17:58, Reply)
Sure will !
I need to get blogging, I've got quite a few recipies. Yesterday's one with the kidney was well lush, and I'm indifferent to the kidney part, could easily be replaced by any other kind of meat.

In fact, I'll do that now.
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:00, Reply)
Here's yesterday's one.

why do you think she only shows her left hand?
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:12, Reply)
Because she is holding the camera in her other hand.
That's my guess.
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:17, Reply)
nope!
because I cut all her fingers off and pickled them
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:19, Reply)
Yee-Haa!
It's picklin' time!
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:20, Reply)
What did you fill them with?
*Note, the answer WITH A SPOON/KNIFE! won't be accepted*
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:10, Reply)
Pumpkin and merguez with some creme fraiche and onion
NB, proper pumpkin, none of this disgusting carving pumpkin stuff which tastes of grainy nothing, and merguez are spicy lamb/beef sausages.
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:11, Reply)
What I find more amazing is that with such small hands, you play the piano.

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:14, Reply)
I have surprisingly big hands for a girl my size.
they were quite big ravioli.
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:15, Reply)
You know what they say about girls with big hands...

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:16, Reply)
It's a bugger to find gloves that fit?

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:31, Reply)

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:14, Reply)
You could read berk's description?

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:16, Reply)
oh yeah
sorry i drowned in my own saliva before I got to that bit
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:17, Reply)
I could explain to you how to make them
I promise you it wasn't very hard, just time consuming.
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:32, Reply)
I think we all know what'll happen.
Captain will start making them, then look out the kitchen window and notice how a tree looks a bit like a unicorn, so she'll stop cooking, grab a camera and go off and have some out-door adventure.

The come home later and have a chicken burger with oven chips.
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:34, Reply)
Something like that, yes, probably.

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:35, Reply)

In the mean time, if you could just tell me all of Field Ping Pong Fella's allergies, along with his favorite restaurant....

He doesn't have any that I know of, I'm afraid
but he really doesn't like tomatoes, and likes greek food, if that's any help?
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:59, Reply)
Hmm, not really, I'd have to use my imagination a bit more.
Although I did hear liking greek food and not liking tomartoes and being fond of tennis... is a sure-fire sign that someone can only hold negative intentions for any 'loved ones', I say 'loved ones' in speechmarks because, if this WHO report is right, they have no souls in order to love someone, not like normal people.

I'm not saying it's true, it might be something I just made up on the top of my head for some self-serving manor, but I wouldn't just dismiss it.
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 19:06, Reply)
Hahaha!

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 19:08, Reply)
Sounds tasty
the only thing that doesn't seem to quite fit is the umami paste
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:02, Reply)
It needs more Vienetta.

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:03, Reply)
What's the deal with the Vienetta?

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:04, Reply)
just one slice
is never enough
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:04, Reply)
It's your birthday. You've got to have Vienetta on your birthday.
If you don't have it then, as a birthday treat. When else would you have it?
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:05, Reply)
I haven't had it in years
I wouldn't be sure they still made it
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:07, Reply)

I think it'll add a deepness in flavour at the top of the mouth, really add to that char'dness.
There is plenty for two here, you need to move near me.
(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:06, Reply)
Your food would be too much of a temptation

(, Sun 9 Oct 2011, 18:06, Reply)
