I had a great chat with our IT support on friday
I especially like it when he pointed out that any other type of phone that we could have gone with, would have a fully supported push e-mail facility with our existing server. Except for Blackberry. Which requires it's own server, it's own software, and it's own suppport contract with Blackberry.

I'm pushing for an HTC desire when we next upgrade.

with many bells on. We've got Blackberry BES running here. The ONLY good thing about it I can see is the ability to lock/wipe them should they get lost

Blackberries are bloody awful to support.
The BES interface is one of the clunkiest pieces of software I have seen in a long time.

Android phones practically set themselves up in comparison with some email servers, it's brilliant.
