Morals I guess.It's consistency. I wouldn't kill it to eat it (except in dire necessity) so I won't eat it. There are other reasons, but that's the centre of it.

I have no problem with eating meat, moreso the animal husbandry before death.But it's too late for me to go back to red meat and I don't miss it.
