Inner 12 year old: I really don't give a shit, it's a sofa.
Inner 16 year old: Can I get it so when Jenna comes 'round, get it so we're sitting to each other and have a good snog.
Inner 20 year old: Can I get it so when everyone fucks off and it's just me and Lisa can get a good old fucking session? Best get leather, wipe proof.
Inner 24 year old, and happens to be the realistic ones: Will the sweet'n'sour stains show up if I spill some sauce down my top?

It's also a right pain in the prick to get couches up stairs for flats, so measure up first to make sure it'll fit to avoid disappointment, tears and tantrums.

choosing a sofa is a great responsibility. I chose the one that enveloped me to such a degree I couldn't get out of it again in the showroom. I love my sofa, and it's a nice chocolatey colour so you can drop your dinner or your red wine on it and it won't show.

NB, on the occasions I have dropped my red wine and/or dinner on it, I have removed and washed the covers regardless. I'm not that much of a skank.

I'm thinking of coffee'n'cream colours for the place, with feature elements. I like it when they have a floral or royal pattern wallpaper on a feature-wall...
.... in a hotel, they did that, but instead of a wall, they used golden picture frames and filled it with the paper. That seemed like a good idea to me, looked wicked and you can change them easily.

What sort of thing do you like Berk? I mean, considering how much time you'll be staying at mine at some point in the future, you might as well get a say in it.
