I, on the other hand
have to wear one all summer to avoid looking like The Red Skull, on account of being, as you say, a baldy.

That said, last year I didn't for a few days, then when I went and had my head shaved, I looked like a bloody Ying and Yang symbol where the untanned bits met the exposed bits. It's not a good look.

I am partially bald.
I mostly wear hats to keep the sun out of my weak and inferior eyes, or to keep the rain off, or sometimes just because I look so damn good in them.
