IN other news I had an ECG today and I have a resting heart rate of 46 bpm...
I think I might be dying

Can I have your stuff when you're gone?

(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 20:29, Reply)

sure *sniff*
(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 20:30, Reply)
Is that bad?
I have no idea.
(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 20:34, Reply)
Average is 60-80
If I was a marathon runner it would be normal, but I'm an internet housewhale
(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 20:35, Reply)
But isn't that good then?
If nothing else you'll live longer because you only get so many heart beats and you'll use them up more slowly
(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 20:37, Reply)
It's good if you are super fit, but I'm very average

(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 20:38, Reply)
I can't see how it's bad
but I'm medically illiterate, so who knows.
(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 20:39, Reply)
it doesn't beat enough to succesfully pump oxygenated blood arounfd my body
an atheletes beats slow but HARD thus keeping the flow going
(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 20:40, Reply)
Ahh, thank you, this is a mechanical explanation I can understand.
Condolences. Do you have any actual symptoms?
(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 20:42, Reply)
Don't pander. He's letting me have his stuff.
I'll share.
(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 20:45, Reply)
Sometimes I almost pass out

(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 20:58, Reply)
I like the way you stated the distance in KM rather than miles to make it sound a longer distance

(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 21:01, Reply)
its still quite a way

(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 21:04, Reply)
Yep. I'm not dismissing it. I wish I had the energy & time to start running again
Instead I am sat here as a shut-in sipping last year's sloe gin until I take the baby out in her buggy to help get her to sleep. this is not a complaint btw
(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 21:08, Reply)
Woo!
If I do it in Kilometers, I cycle like 100KM in a week. This makes me awesomely fit.
(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 21:10, Reply)
i wonder how far I walk up and down corridors all day
...or even if I added in all the pacing around I do while I teach
(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 21:11, Reply)
Why not try a pedometer if you really want to know
Sensible answer is sensible
(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 21:14, Reply)
I am tempted by this
but I think I'd be disappointed and a little embarrassed. Although a comparison of everyone's pacing about habits in a 1.5 hour lesson would be interesting. I think I'd win. The other day I was in a small room and found myself just pacing the two steps I actually had the space for
(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 21:16, Reply)
yeah, but you are a bundle of energy.

(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 21:15, Reply)
*boing!*

Time for bed.

(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 21:28, Reply)

Who does this remind you off.

*raises eyebrow*

(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 21:33, Reply)
hahahahhaha

(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 21:34, Reply)
I walked 4 miles today
was fairly impressed by that
(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 21:28, Reply)
can you still walk after that?

(, Thu 20 Oct 2011, 21:29, Reply)
Only just about
did it in two parts
