Doesn't even raise a smile, I'm afraid, mate.
I do need to go back there though, and have a proper go on everything. But I'm not going near the fucking place while it's still half term.

True. Half term won't be easy.
How much do you reckon you could spend trying everything on the pier?
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:12, Reply)
The only things worth going on are the teacups
and the penny falls arcade machine.
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:14, Reply)
They had penny falls.
But I didn't see any tea-cups. Sorry berk.

The bar was filthy though.

I can easily feed a good five quid's-worth of 2p's in to one of those things
although the last time I played on one I was trying to get rid of all of my change and just kept winning more. I've still got a pot full of 2p's somewhere.

They had a fine selection of money grabbing machines on the pier.
If you venture to the west country at some point, I'll take you there (with b3th).

Next year I shall try very hard to get down to Brizzle
it's been a good while since I've been.

I'll take you on the cider boat and you can watch me cause myself pain.

(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:38, Reply)
I want to go there again
it was rather nice last time
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:41, Reply)
Let me know if you ever fancy a pint.

(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:42, Reply)
Will do
when you're recovered from your oop north jaunt
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:43, Reply)
Woo-hoo!
I'm only away for the day, but it'll be a 3.30am start and I won't get home till gone ten. So I expect I'll be shattered this week. If you fancy a pint next week, that would be lovely!
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:45, Reply)
Sounds good to me
enjoy the back breaking work in Edinburgh haha
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:53, Reply)
It'll just be a long day. That's all.

(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:55, Reply)
Hmm....
I'm thinking 'more money than I actually have' about covers it.
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:14, Reply)
Well I'd best start looking at your C.V then hadn't I!
*Goes off to e-mail account*

Not if you have other things to do.
It's okay, really.

B3th - my word is my bond.

(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:20, Reply)
Just don't ask me to say anything else impressive about myself at teh moment.
I'm having one of my 'episodes'. it's not pretty.
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:24, Reply)
It's okay.
I've mailed you back - with a few areas of improvement suggested.

Don't worry about doing it today if you're not in the mood.
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:37, Reply)
Thanks babe
but it's best if I don't go anywhere near it at the moment. If I was unemployable before, I can hardly imagine how prospective employers would take to some of the words I'd use to describe myse;f at the moment.
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:41, Reply)
Don't worry.
My helping hand (if indeed it is a helping hand) is always available. This week is going to be pretty hectic as I'm off north in the middle of the week.
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:42, Reply)
Give it a wave from me.

(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:43, Reply)
I'll make sure I have a shit whilst I'm there if that ticks any boxes.
Fuckin' stupid 3.30am starts.
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:44, Reply)
And I felt bad about having to get up at 6:30 this morning...
what the fuck is up with a 3:30am start?!
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:46, Reply)
Trying to save money berk.
If I were to go up the night before and spend the cost of a cheap hotel, the Daily Mail would point out that this is a waste of tax-payers money.
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:47, Reply)
Can't you do whatever it is by skype or something?

(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:53, Reply)
Yes we could.
But they like the 'face to face' approach.

Stand on me. I'd quite enjoy 3 days in Edinburgh, but the project won't stretch to it on that occasion. I expect to be back there in another week or two as well.
(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:57, Reply)
Why on earth aren't you travelling up the night before instead? Much more civilised.

(, Mon 24 Oct 2011, 21:48, Reply)
It would be. I agree.
But I'm taking a couple of people with me and that would add about £500 to the budget. Which banks can't afford.
