Swing is the only type of dance I've ever (vaguely) learned.
It is quite cool. And fairly adaptable.

the only problem I find is that it's all 3/4, but luckily I ride roughshod over any concept of matched timing and the bloke always leads. So, bollocks to it, you can swing to rock.

the thing is, PC, being able to do simple things like dance a little helps makes women want to sleep with you.

depends on what kind you're doing...
Charleston and 6 beat are both 3/4 timings, but Lindy hop is 4/4 and it's great.

you should know this. and swing isn't ballroom. You can dance to pretty much any music. it's mostly spins and passes. Would you rather that, or some neaderthal that stamps on your manolos?
