Route 66 - Depeche Mode

(, Tue 1 Nov 2011, 16:06, Reply)
Agreed.
Especially the Beatmasters remix.
(, Tue 1 Nov 2011, 16:08, Reply)
Yeah
I love the Enjoy the Silence remix on there too. It is fucking excellent

I've got pretty much everything Depeche Mode ever did, in one form or another.
Up to the singles from Exciter. Then it's just albums after that.

Just got the remixes album
It is good
(, Tue 1 Nov 2011, 16:12, Reply)
I bought the second one a while back.
It's not as good as the first one.

The Live Lounge cover that Pendulum did of The Catalyst is superb
As is Lostprophets' Cry Me A River
(, Tue 1 Nov 2011, 16:15, Reply)
as in by the Timberlake?

(, Tue 1 Nov 2011, 16:15, Reply)
Yep
I know, it sounds like a horrible combination, but somehow it works really well. I don't think they were taking it entirely seriously, which helps.
(, Tue 1 Nov 2011, 16:18, Reply)
Like Faith by Limb Bizkit

(, Tue 1 Nov 2011, 16:18, Reply)
it gets really shouty at the end and that upsets me

(, Tue 1 Nov 2011, 16:19, Reply)
Another good example
As is Marilyn Manson's mental version of Rock'n'Roll Nigger
(, Tue 1 Nov 2011, 16:30, Reply)
but were you carrying a licence at the time?

(, Tue 1 Nov 2011, 16:18, Reply)
Even Dylan acknowledges this
and usually performs the Hendrix version.

You better have meant the Hendrix version and not the U2 *spits* version, because if you didn't...
*shakes fist*
(, Tue 1 Nov 2011, 16:08, Reply)
I wasn't aware that U2 had done it!
Dylan cannot sing at all either. Hendrix can, a bit
(, Tue 1 Nov 2011, 16:09, Reply)
I'm not going to enter into a debate about this
I'm just going to say that Dylan can sing (or rather could, bit ropey these days)
