Our work Christmas do is taking place a week after the next little tangle is due to arrive
So I will no doubt miss that. I missed last year's due to swine flu.
It's not so much that I want to go out with these people, more that I want to get drunk at my employer's expense.

Tossers
On our nights out, we get a tab behind the bar, and a warning not to take the piss. There's about £10 assigned each, so a few lagers, or something like that. Every time I go, I have one double whiskey and ginger, then a couple of beers, before either going elsewhere, or buying my own drinks. I was told to stop taking the piss last time.

I pointed out that those 3 drinks were far cheaper than the 4 G&Ts the person who was complaining had drunk.
